Brian and Katie Ernst are a full time touring, music, and non-profit duo, originally from Ohio (USA).  When they met, it was the summer of 2006. In 2007 Brian got “the best promotion” he could ever receive: he got fired from his warehouse job, which caused him to pursue music full time.

Brian is now a full-time live looping musician who uses acoustic and lap guitars, along with didgeridoo’s, and 15 small percussion instruments. He creates upbeat, blue-eyed soul music that is rooted in passion and purpose. Katie runs an NGO they both founded called Journey4YOUth which, through music, provides over 100 education sponsorship’s (from primary school to college) as well as rain water harvesting tanks.

In the last decade, their music and message has traveled through 49 states and 35 countries. This will be the third time they have toured South Africa. Brian and Katie have witnessed hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world come together in the name of music. As a direct result of this, thousands of kids are getting educated and empowered. This is music transforming people. This is music making change.
