Cape Town, you have done it again.

The TripAdvisor 25 Best Destinations in the World list was published this morning and, as you probably would have guessed, the Mother City cracked the nod. Again.

Although we did technically finish in the top 25 last year too, this year is different because now we’re sitting pretty in 10th place. A sizeable jump from 19th in 2014!

Siem Riep is a Cambodian city that, to be honest, I had never heard of until about half an hour ago, yet it finished in second place.

In front of them at first place is Marrakech, Morocco and falling in third place is Istanbul, Turkey.

Screen Shot 2015-03-24 at 7.43.51 AM

So who did we pip? Feast your eyes. Cape Town finished ahead of the likes of New York, Barcelona, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Sydney and Dubai.

Let’s continue putting Cape Town on the international map and make the top five in 2016.

View the list here. Well done!

Oh yes. I wonder of TripAdvisor made a little detour to the Cape Flats? Where hundreds of men are slaughtered every year.. I think they would definitely reconsider. And yes thanks to the DA, NOTHING IS BEING DONE.

Asanda Manakaza it is only the black people of this country like you that keep on sticking to be a rasist. Nobody in this post said any thing about being a rasist. You are the first one to mention it and therefore making you the rasist here not anybody else! Wake up and smell the coffee. Rasisim was ended probely even before you where born so you were not even around during that time. Rather focus on your studies and get a degree behind your name and start to contrubute to the country that you blacks keep on breaking down!

Denver Why is it that you blacks just can’t leave apartheid out of this? For once in your life have a look at what have been done in the Cape Town area and compare it to the rest of South Africa. You can Clearly see where the DA is the ruling party and where the ANC is the ruling party. That alone speaks for it self and does not matter what you are trying to say here, it is not going to change the facts! The facts is what matters and not empty promises!
