After weeks of preparation, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has sung their last song at the America’s Got Talent finalé. The proudly South African choir performed an amazing rendition of ‘Africa’ by Toto in their final bid to become winner of the American talent competition.

The choir performed in the first episode of the two-part finale on September 17 that saw 10 acts go head to head to be crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent 2019. The winning act will be announced at the live finale result show on September 18.

South Africa and the US have been cheering on the Ndlovu Youth Choir, week after week, as they took to the America’s Got Talent stage. The choir has gone from strength to strength with every performance. Once again, they had judges and the crowd dancing out of their seats to their final show.

“Tonight we were proud young ambassadors of a united Africa. Our beautiful continent has the worlds youngest population and our hope is that our performance reflected the talent, opportunity and potential of millions of young people. One nation, one continent,” the choir writes on their Facebook.

Although we cannot vote in the competition, we will all hold thumbs that this amazing choir comes out victorious. No matter the outcome, we are all so immensely proud of this choir for representing South African talent on an international stage.
