Take the kids out for family-friendly workshops in the Centre for Art Education and elsewhere in the Zeitz MOCAA museum.

The Family Learning Workshops take place on Saturday, October 12 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and again from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The morning workshop is geared towards parents / guardians with children between the ages of 3 and 8 while the afternoon session is for parents/ guardians with children aged 11-17. The Children’s MOCAA Tour takes place on Saturday,October 12 between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. The tour has been designed for children to discover information about the artists, where they live and work and what has inspired them. Click here to reserve a spot.

The Open Studio every Wednesday is facilitated by staff but doesn’t take the form of a structured art lesson. Parents/ Guardians and their children can join in the fun any time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Book your spot here.

Zeitz MOCAA is open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm. Daily admission is R200 per person, and free to under 18s. On Wednesdays from 10am until 1pm, the museum is free for all African citizens. On the first Friday of every month, entry is half price at R100 per person from 4pm and the museum is open until 9pm.
