Massimo’s Pizza is playing its part in helping out the local community by adopting a unique spin on the concept of ‘paying it forward’.
The idea (inspired by a Philadelphia-based pizza joint) is pretty simple in its scope.
Customers dining at Massimo’s can add one or more slices of virtual pizza to their bill. For every sixth slice sold, a pizza is delivered to a local charity/institution.
Beneficiaries of this initiative will change regularly (suggestions are welcomed), with its current focus on Hout Bay Volunteer Emergency Medical Services, James House, Hout Bay Fire Department and DARG.
Upon purchasing their virtual pizza slices, clients can choose between a number of good causes to donate to or let fate decide for them with the ‘Massimo wheel of fortune’.
