In aid of the Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation (RRSF), a non-profit organisation launched in 2015 by Steenkamp’s mother to raise awareness about the prevalence of abuse against women and children, Natasha King is hosting a fun run at the Castle of Good Hope on leap day, February 29, 2020.

Abuse of women and children is a significant issue in South Africa and the world. According to Bernadine Bachar, director of the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Children in South Africa, one in five women has been exposed to physical abuse. The RRSF believes education is paramount to breaking the cycle of abuse. All proceeds from the event will go to the Steenkamp foundation towards the cause.

The fun run starts at 10am and ends at 12pm. Participants are required to register ahead of the run at 9.30am. This is an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
