Capetonians are some of the luckiest locals in lockdown. The Mother City has continued the habit of treating her residents to memorable and uplifting sunsets and sunrises throughout the lockdown.

Yesterday’s [April 22] sunset and this morning’s [April 23] sunrise proved to be particularly beautiful as residents from across the city shared the breathtaking views from their parts of the Mother City.

Bright tints and tones of orange, pink, purple and red filled the sky as the sun dipped below the horizon yesterday and again when it greeted the new day this morning.
