A burst pipe or a possible sinkhole in Sea Point has left both Main and St Johns roads flooded. As a result, residents and those passing through the area are forced to drive through a flood of water.
According to JWI.news’ Facebook page, residents can expect water supply in the area to be affected. There has not yet been any confirmation on the part of the City as to what exactly caused the pipe to burst, or when water supply will be re-established for those living there.
According to a resident, however, the flood was caused by a sink hole.
Sink hole opened on corner of St John’s Rd and Beach Rd in Sea Point. They clearly turned off the water supply coz I have no water pressure in my building and I’m several streets away pic.twitter.com/bUQPMLONvV
