If you turned your gaze to Table Mountain at midday on Saturday [November 14], you would have witnessed an incredible scene. They say every cloud has a silver lining, and this one was pretty special.
Photographer Agi Orfanos captured a truly mesmerising image of a cloud in the shape of an angel over Table Mountain. Can you see her too?
The specific shape will relate to the weather conditions of that specific moment. Around the world, clouds look different because of the climate of the location, the amount of water vapour in the air, the wind and the type of air.
Some cultures view clouds as highly symbolic. The ancient Romans believed that some of their gods lived in the clouds. Some Judeo-Christians think that guardian angels watch over us from their homes in the clouds.
