Defending the Caveman is the hilarious safeguarding of so-called primitive behaviours displayed by the modern man.

One of the longest running solo comedies,  the show is synonymous with the age old saying ‘men are from mars, women are from venus’ with its cheeky exploration on the differences between men and women, and their interactions with one another.

Written by Rob Becker, the play was three years in the making, and is based on his informal study of the sub-disciplines Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology. Dubbed the ‘perfect date comedy’, the play covers a range of contentious issues from womens’ oversized closets and their inclination to talk during sports games to mens’ adamant refusal of asking for directions.
