Cape Town is filled with a number of activities to do by yourself, with friends or family. Here is a list of daily activities to enjoy in the Mother City:

Visit the Planetarium:

Iziko Planetarium and Digital Dome present three shows from Tuesdays to Sundays.
The morning show is fun for the whole family, it is especially light-hearted for the little ones. The afternoon shows are astronomical adventures for space and science enthusiasts!

“The safety of our visitors and staff is important to us. Iziko has pre-screening measures in place, please arrive 15-30 before the shows start to fill in a questionnaire, have your temperature measured and pay for your tickets. The Planetarium has limited seats available per show to ensure the appropriate social distancing occurs,” the Planetarium said.

Pay a visit to the Company’s Gardens

The Gardens are an integral part of Cape Town’s cityscape and offers a peaceful oasis within the hustle and bustle of the city.

There are a number of hawkers on the walkway on the way to the main gates of the Gardens, and here, one can purchase snacks and peanuts to feed to animals within the Gardens. Keep an eye out for the adorable squirrels and ducks, but beware: they bite and chase so don’t get too comfortable.

While there, be sure to pay a visit to The Company Gardens’ Restaurant for a soothing pot of tea.
