They say that the smallest acts of kindness can have the biggest impact. Nowhere has this been more evident than with the touching story of young Ameer. We recently covered a story on this incredible young man and his extraordinary act of kindness (you can read it here)

To teach Ameer about the importance of Ramadan and giving back to those less fortunate, his parents wanted him to experience what it feels like to share with others. As a part of this process, they’ve taken his pre-loved toys to a children’s home, dropped groceries to a home for the aged and of course, stopped off at Animal Welfare Society to deliver a donation for the animals.

This beautiful and selfless act has caught the attention of social media, with hundreds of touched Capetonians liking and sharing a post shared by the Animal Welfare Society of SA. He has definitely won the hearts of humans and animals. Speaking to IOL, AWS spokesperson Allan Perrins stated that Ameer is a strong contender for their Junior Animal Welfare Ambassador of the Year accolade.

There’s no question that this young man’s thoughtfulness has left a lasting impression on all of us.
