#HighburyHearsYou – we at Cape Town Etc are passionate about getting local restaurants back and booming in business. As part of our #HighburyHearsYou initiative, we’re dishing out the deets on some incredible restaurants in and around town.
Situated next door to the Wilderer distillery, the La Grapperia is a German/Italian Bistro food and pizzeria located at the Spice Route in Paarl that makes a number of flavourful wood-fired, thin based pizzas. They also offer flammkuchen, a thin based, crisp pizza with cream cheese, bacon, garlic, and onion and platters with either a glass of wine or beer on tap.
The restaurant’s outside seating area has beautiful oak trees, which adds to the lovely atmosphere. This topped with their amazing views of the Winelands, Table Mountain and so much more to enjoy in Summer. If you are worried about the cold, don’t worry, the inside seating is situated right next to a cosy fireplace to keep warm.
It is an ideal location to bring the entire family along. From grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and of course the kiddies. While the adults are enjoying their feast, the kids will be more than occupied with the jungle gym on site.
