The Animal Welfare Society of SA will be heading to the Starke Ayres Garden Centre in Rosebank on Saturday, June 10 from 10am – 2pm.
The shelter was warmly welcomed during their last visit to the garden centre and decided to revisit, but are extending their visitation time to after lunch so that more patrons get the opportunity to meet and greet five puppies named Snowy, Pepper, Bruno, Taffy and Molly that Lawrence and his team of helpers chose to showcase.
When the Animal Welfare Society of SA told Lawrence the great news that the invitation was accepted, he was so excited and immediately raced out to take a few shots of the puppies playing. There were many blurred shots in between which proves that the puppies were just as excited asĀ Lawrence.
“They raced around the exercise run jumping and cajoling in eager anticipation of another super successful adoption day at what is arguably the best garden centre in Cape Town”, says the Animal Welfare Society of SA.
The shelter are super appreciative of the kindness and generous hospitality provided by the Garden Centre.
“Thanks to a tremendous collaboration we have already successfully matched a number of dogs and puppies with some of the most amazing forever families who would ordinarily be wary about venturing into the Cape Flats to see what we have on offer. This is a triumph of note and an event worthy of celebration as we count our many blessings this Mandela month.”
The Starke Ayres Garden Centre are equally pleased to welcome the Animal Welfare Society of SA’s staff and volunteers and furry children and have been praying for good weather to ensure and welcome maximum adoption visitors.
