A young woman’s life was tragically cut short last Friday in Cape Town’s City Centre when she fell from the 25th floor of The Box building on Laerburg Street, Cape {town} Etc reports.

The incident has raised many questions, with social media users speculating about the cause of her fall.

One witness wrote on Facebook, ‘The girl’s pants were up to her knees and her clothes were torn. It is suspected to be suicide but given what her clothes looked like; it is more likely she was sexually assaulted’.

The woman was found lifeless, and authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed the tragic discovery, stating that an inquest had been registered and that they were actively probing the incident.

‘The circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation,’ said Twigg. ‘Anyone with any information regarding this matter is encouraged to come forward and contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111.’

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or has information that could assist in the investigation to reach out.

At this time, it is unclear whether foul play was involved, but local authorities are working diligently to uncover the truth and bring closure to the grieving family.
