Ottoman Slap creates an exotic fusion of Middle-Eastern and Balkan beats. They have recently released a brilliant new video for the song, Aquel Ruido.
Ottoman Slap’s new video
Ottoman Slap’s new music video could be mistaken for a short art film. It is set in a migrant camp where everyone seems to be miserable (at least, at first). A troupe of musicians arrives unexpectedly and injects some joy into the camp. The refreshingly vibrant and authentic music makes it become evident that change is bound to happen.
The 100% local video was directed by Jon-Luke Lourens and produced by Anco Henning of Direction Films. Some of the first-class talent involved in the production includes the director of photography, Amelia Henning and leading cast, Amy Louise Wilson, and Francis Chouler.
