What’s better than hanging out with a bunch of mates, sipping cold ones as you cheer in a crowd at a rugby match?
Getting to do all of that over two days, where you get to see 100 rugby teams clash as well as 40 netball teams, 32 volleyball teams and live music featuring some of the countries’ best artists.
Cape Town 10s is back and it is without a doubt the biggest sporting jol of the year. On 5 and 6 February, Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point will be the only place to be. Sports fans can catch incredible matches, be it rugby, netball or beach volleyball.
This year you can look forward to the Flying Fish Pro Series, where the best local volleyball stars will show you how to really play the game. You can catch rugby teams featuring the likes of Cindy Nell, Jack Parow, Siv Ngesi and Rob van Vuuren.
If sport is not your thing, no worries. There is plenty of awesome stuff happening to keep you entertained. You can catch performances from GoodLuck, Just Jinjer, Kurt Darren, Rockerfellas, Hot Water, The Kiffness, Me & Mr Brown, DJ Sox and crowd favourite, The Rivertones. There is also a family entertainment area, so the kids can come and join in on all the fun.
There will be heart pumping action, there will be cheers and there will be beer – lots and lots of beer. The Cape Town 10s boasts the biggest beer tent in Africa. No matter what you are there for, you will definitely get your fix of liquid courage. Food Lovers Market will be on hand, providing great food for you to enjoy.
