Beacon Island Resort, Plett

A burgeoning wine tourism hotspot has been unearthed in the friendly coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. It’s one of South Africa’s newest wine of origin regions and has become known for its award-wining Methodé Cap Classique sparkling wines. For a taste of that extraordinary Plett feeling, take a trip to the Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival this weekend.

Sip more than 30 local wines and bubbly’s, savour the delicacies of artisanal food and eateries and take in the festivities along the Plett Winelands.

Enjoy en route whale watching, before lounging in the sunny weather, perfect when paireed with a crisp MCC or fine Pinot Noir.

See the full festival line-up here.
