Wednesday 31 August

Baxter Theatre, Rondebosch

A little girl kills a moose. But why was the moose there at all?

Lara Foot’s award-winning Karoo Moose premiered in South Africa almost a decade ago, and now it returns with the original cast reprising their respective roles.

Set in an impoverished Karoo village, and performed in English and isiXhosa, the play combines African story-telling with magical realism, touching on a variety of pertinent themes.

A South African gem that’s not to be missed!
