A round-up of our style finds from earlier this week…
PRINTS CHARMING
Bruno Morphet is known by most Capetonians for his skills on the decks, but by day he’s actually one of the city’s leading graphic artists (and responsible for our WDC2014 bid logo).
We love his prints, particularly his unique take on some of our favourite cult movies.
Cost R599 each (with frame)

PAPERKUTZ COASTERS
Paperkutz is a South African online store stocking party goods from die-cut cupcake wrappers and stencils to cake toppers and place cards. But we most love the ‘pretty stuff‘ section, where you’ll find gorgeous, quirky items like these Marie biscuit coasters.

MODERN STRANGER SCATTERS
Carla Erasmus uses slide film photographs as designs on scatter cushions and linen throws for her Cape Town-based design label Modern Stranger. The found photography, depicting everyday images of domestic life, evokes a sense of nostalgia and bygone charm.
The scatter cushions are made from hemp fabric and anti-allergenic goose feathers, and stocked at Present Space in Cape Town. You can also email Carla or order online via the Facebook page.
