Nomad Bistro launches 3 weekly nights of epic music

If you’ve not yet been to Nomad Bistro & Bar, then you’re missing out. Slap bang in the middle of the CBD, it offers a bevy of eclectic dishes, from gourmet tapas to a selection of burgers inspired by universal flavours. Added to that, its craft beers, spirits, wines, and cocktails (classic and fusion) make it the perfect spot for a sundowner. And it can all be enjoyed within an interior that combines vintage, modern and rustic aesthetics.

But now, there’s something else to look forward to here. Nomad Bistro is set to become more than just a hot new eatery and watering hole after launching a series of regular weekly events. Taking place towards and over the weekend, these nightly offerings will be full of the best in live local music, DJ sets, and Deep House music.

Thursday nights: ‘Live at Nomad’

One great way to get ready for the weekend is a laid-back evening with live entertainment. Nomad offers just that, every Thursday. Look forward to catching gigs by both well-established and up-and-coming artists from 7 pm. There’ll also be lucky draw competitions, specials on drinks and Tapas, and a pop-up José Cuervo bar serving Margaritas and Tequila shots.

Friday nights: ‘Friday Feels’

Now it’s time to get the weekend going! Nomad will be bringing you Friday sessions with various well-known DJs. With awesome music in the background, and special deals for tables of five or more, these evenings are sure to get you in the mood for a great night out. So what are you waiting for? DJ Roy Hendrix will be lighting up Nomad Bistro tonight (27 January 2017), at the first instalment of what will hopefully become a popular fixture on Cape Town’s list of end-of-the-week events.

Saturday nights: ‘Sessions at Nomad’

Prepare to dance well into Saturday night to some epic Deep House at Nomad. The bar’s ‘Bottle Service’ option is available on these occasions for groups who book in advance. This gets you a bottle (or more) of your favourite spirit. The bar also hands out a Nomad Elite card for the best-dressed. This prize is preloaded with deals such as include draught beers for R15, or a free bottle of a house spirit when you next book a table for six or more.
