The Puncture Points Project arose from a desire to institute an art undertaking, based on the building of a fresh petrol and diesel storage amenity, at Cape Town Harbour. The work displayed at the project’s art exhibition addresses the role that energy plays in our daily lives.
Fifteen gifted local creatives were given the opportunity to use fabrics that expressed energy in the form of textures. Their artwork shows their interpretation of how energy in physical matter, such as crude oil, grows into abstract phenomena.
