Celebrate the unique flavours of the Boland at the first Proe Paarl street festival, where the oak-lined streets of this historic town will showcase some of the town’s most generous offerings.
Award-winning wines from twelve wine farms on the Paarl Wine Route can be sampled and paired with delicious gourmet street food prepared by some of the area’s top restaurants, including Harvest @ Laborie, Rhebokskloof Restaurant and Mellasat Pop-Up Restaurant. More than twenty local artisans and crafters will offer novelty items ranging from jewellery, home-made preserves, hand-made homeware, beadwork, funky bags and handbags made from recycled material to fill up your Christmas stockings. Produce stalls will serve coffee, biltong and traditional Halaal delicacies such as rooties.
With live music to keep festivities high and a dedicated children’s area, it’ll be a day in the Boland hard to forget.
