National Theatre Live is a groundbreaking project by the National Theatre that aims to broadcast world class theatrical productions in local cinemas around the world. Strategically placed cameras and a live orchestral accompaniment offer a ‘best seat in the house’ experience.

Broadcast live from the National Theatre, with live orchestral accompaniment by Southbank Sinfonia, Amadeus tells the story of young music prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as he navigates the streets of Vienna, the music capital of the world. Since its premiere in 1979, Amadeus has won multiple awards and been adapted into an Academy Award-winning film.
