Another fire flared up late yesterday in Fish Hoek. Spare a thought for the four volunteer teams who worked throughout the night to battle the blaze. From what I’m hearing the fire is still going, but now a lot more under control thanks to the good work from the teams. The valley has sure been in the news a lot lately.

Chocolate lovers, you’re in for a treat. There will be a Magnum pop-up shop opening at Cavendish Square on 17 January 2015. After a successful stint in Jozi, Magnum is bringing the concept to the Mother City where customers can customise their own ice-cream and then top it off with interesting extras such as sea salt, chilli flakes and edible rose petals.
