In what was quite a ballsy and amusing move by the DA, a plane flew over a sea of yellow-clad ANC supporters today with a banner in tow reading ‘PAY BACK THE MONEY’ – this being a reference to that time in parliament when Julius Malema told the ANC to pay back the money from Nkandla.
It is unclear what the general opinion of the message is by the ANC, but Twitter certainly had opinions to voice about it.

Secondly, that exercise probably cost a few thousand which is a spit in the ocean compared to the quarter of a billion about which the exercise was performed. It’s a brilliant move. If we allow Nkandla to be forgotten, to be swept under the preverbial politicians rug like soooo many other things (Arms deal anyone?) he has gotten away with it will further cement that precident of non accountability in South Africa! It means when someone does try hold someone accountable for something it will make it that much more harder!
