The Falke Full Moon Hiking season wraps up with a spectacular autumn hike at Delvera Farm outside Stellenbosch. Ascend through beautiful vineyards and yellowwood forests to the top of Klapmutskop then savour stunning views of the Winelands and Table Mountain as twilight falls across the horizon.
There’s just something enchanting about watching warm and cool tones merge in the skylight so arrive early to ensure you have the full experience before the sun sets at 6:30 pm and the moon rises at 7 pm. The hike is approximately 90 minutes long and picnics can be enjoyed at the top. Be sure to book and pay for picnics at least two days in advance and bring along a torch and something warm to wear. A shuttle service is available for a shorter hiking option.
