A little jazz and some good food, paired with a heady red wine, is just the concoction you need to see you through this winter. Don’t let the cold weather steal your vibe, The 41 in Camps Bay has an offering to keep you entertained right through the chilly season.

Chef Aristotle Ragavelas has especially created a winter set menu comprising of 5 Asian inspired courses, made with fresh local ingredients, that will keep you coming back for more – and has thrown in a mix of jazz to go with it.

Live Jazz performances by local artists will set the tone of the evening, and guests will be treated to a glass of Da Lucca Prosecco upon arrival. The 5-course menu includes Tuna Tartare, Lavash Bread with Herb Aioli paired with a glass of Free Run Sauvignon Blanc.

Followed by the Butternut, Coriander and Coconut Soup paired with the Two Roads Chardonnay and then Calamari, Pesto and Potato nest paired smashingly with the Treaty Tree Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend. The next course is the Ostrich Ragu Thai Curry served with Beetroot Chips accompanied by the Mud House Pinot Noir. Finally, wrapping up the evening with a decadent indulgence of Aphrodisiac Crème Brulee served with the new Bees Knees Sauvignon Blanc.

Amy Campbell will keep guests on the edge of their seats throughout her performance. There are warm fireplaces and a magnificent cascading waterfall bar to further add ambience to the evening.

Jazz on the Bay gives locals a chance to dress up and catch up with friends or family, while enjoying a musical evening in the company of exceptional food. Make sure you book so you don’t miss out.

The cost is R295 per person and only the set menu will be available at the Jazz on the Bay evenings. Other winter specials include a 2-course meal for R180 and 3-course meal for R220 with a complimentary glass of house wine.
