The renowned British musician and producer, Bonobo, will finally make his way to the Mother City accompanied by his talented eight-piece band, with a one-night-only show at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on 8 February 2019.
Simon Green, or better known by his stage name Bonobo, has made a name for himself in the electronic music community and is considered one of the best electronic artists in the world.
He is known as an innovative merger of music and sounds and creates a symphonic balance with jazz and electronic or world music utilizing the talent of his eight-piece band.
Webtickets made it known in their online announcement that the British DJ as a large local fanbase.
“After countless online petitions and social media requests, it’s finally confirmed…,” the online booking platform said.
Bonobo will only be performing in Cape Town.
The artist shared his excitement in a social media post on Twitter.

Tickets cost R585 per person and can be purchased on Webtickets.
Tickets will be released on 4 October 2018 at 9am.

Bonobo’s latest album, The Migration, was produced in 2017 and received acclaim from electronic music lovers across the globe. The album received the 2017 Electronic Music Awards (EMA) Best Album of the Year.
It was also nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic album in 2017 at the 60th Annual Recording Grammy Awards hosted in the United States.
A track on The Migration, Bambro Koyo Ganda was nominated at the Annual Recording Grammy Awards for the Best Dance Recording in 2017.
