Do you have a green thumb? Boschendal Farm’s Food Growing Workshop is the perfect event for you.
Boschendal Farm is hosting a one-day workshop that will cover all the basic things you need to make your garden an organically-grown, nutritional environment.
The workshop is hosted by Megan McCarthy, who oversees the Werf Food Garden. Megan will share her experience in organic food production and help you with seedling production, worm farms, chickens at home, plant health and much more.
You will be shown how to construct your own compost system by a seed saving and compost-making expert, Karen Parkin.
The Boschendal Food Growing Workshop includes a seedling starter kit, companion plants, beneficial microbes and a light lunch.
