Bringing a little more celebration of Africa to the Mother city, The Cape Town Nu World Festival promises to take South Africans on a musical revelation. Formerly known as the Cape Town World Music festival, the two-day event is set to take place over the Mandela Day weekend.
This year’s theme is entitled ‘Wild and Wise’ and will be headlined by the SAMA-winning artist Simphiwe Dana. Supporting acts include Fantasma, Toby2Shoes, Zuku Collective, Aero Manyelo and many others!
Performers from all over Africa will be gracing the stage and will cater to the musical preferences of a diverse audience. Also, if you’re looking to gain a bit of an education, there will be a range of TED-style talks and workshops you can attend.
