Cavendish Square has teamed up with World Design Capital 2014, and against the backdrop of the WDC2014 theme ‘today for tomorrow – sustainable solutions for people and the planet’, have been creating inspiring sustainability stories throughout the centre since August, focusing on extensive green practices.
The shopping centre partnered with local green designers to create sustainable products, closing the gap between waste produced by shoppers and tenants. The quirky ‘Made by You & Cavendish’ recycle bin monsters, launched in the centre in August, aimed to transform the centre’s waste into designer products. For the month of October, these products are revealed and are on display at the recycled pop-up store.
