Clifton 4th Beach has been displaying higher levels of E Coli than usual. The UCT professor who conducted a test of the water has described the results as “frightening”. Last week another test of the water was conducted by The Wildlife & Environmental Society of SA and the presence of E Coli was confirmed, however additional tests were taken two days later and the report concluded that levels of the bacteria had decreased.
