Bruce Norris’ comedy Clybourne Park is set in 1959 and has received many awards, including a Tony for Best Play and the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
The play is about Russ and Bev, who are selling their two-bedroom Chicago Bungalow in Clybourne Park. This means an opportunity for the first black family to move into a historically white neighbourhood.
Years later, in 2009, Lindsay and Steve, a white couple, move into the neighbourhood to discover the same feelings of discrimination and unhappiness.
Clybourne Park stars top South African actors Andrew Buckland, Susan Danford, Nicholas Pauling and Claire-Louise Worby.
