Saturday 12 November 2 pm
Green Point Track, Green Point
Founded in the USA, The Colour Run is an untimed five-kilometre race with a particularly vibrant twist. Participants, or “Colour Runners”, are covered from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre.
This race has gradually evolved into the largest event series in the world. It occurs in over 200 cities, and millions take part. There are only two rules: Wear white at the starting line, and finish the race covered in colour.
The Colour Run is built on four principles. They are ‘be happy’, ‘be healthy’, ‘be you’, and ‘give back to the community’. This year, with the help of Capitec Bank, Parkview Primary School will be the recipient of money raised at the event. For every ticket sold, R10.00 will be donated to the school to help with the purchasing of necessary equipment.
In addition, all Colour Runners this year will receive a R200 coupon to use on the Superbalist.com app. So, why not join in the fun and #getcolourful? Tickets can be booked on the Colour Run website.
