Wednesday 6 May to Saturday 9 May

Baxter Theatre

This is a great opportunity to introduce kids (and anyone else who’s unfamiliar) to the mesmerising world of ballet.

The Crown of the Russian Ballet, made up of graduates from some of Russia’s best choreography schools, will be celebrating the 175th birthday of the late Tchaikovsky, the world-renowned Russian composer. The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty are some of his most famous compositions.

The production will be made up of one-act ballets. The first act will be a new ballet called Manfred, followed by Romeo & Juliet for the second act, and a suite of The Sleeping Beauty.
