With summer in full swing, make the most of the sunny weather and head to Lourensford Wine Estate for the inaugural A Food & Wine Affair, the perfect outing for mom, dad and kids.
Boasting a sprawling green lawn in the heart of Somerset West, it’s the perfect place for kids to roam and play carefree. With jumping castles, face painting, inflatable hop on animals, trampolines, an obstacle course, tractor rides, a water slide, and so much more, kids are guaranteed to wear out their energy sources.
Parents, friends and family members can settle on the lawns with local wines, micro breweries, cocktails and delicious bubblies on offer. Flavourful food and fresh produce will be on offer, like cheese and charcuterie, artisanal chocolate, sushi, gourmet sandwiches and hamburgers as well as kid-friendly food for the littles ones.
The festival runs Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
