Gallery MOMO presents Future – Past – Imperfect, an exhibition of select new and earlier works by the renowned visual artist, Ayana V. Jackson.
The U.S-born and raised artist lives and works between New York, Paris and Joburg since moving her practice to SA in 2007.
According to Jackson, the title Future – Past – Imperfect combines two language tenses: Past Imperfect, describing repeatedly occurring past actions, and the Future Perfect, describing an action that will be completed or ‘perfected’ in the future.
