La Motte is celebrating our heritage and regional cuisine with a special Heritage Day menu.
Resident Chef Michelle Theron is collaborating with well-known West Coast restauranteur Chef Kobus van der Merwe (of Paternoster’s famed Oep ve Koep) and Mariëtte Crafford, a respected food journalist with an inherent knowledge of the food of the Northern Cape. Together they will present a menu that reflects these culinary regions as well as Pierneef à La Motte’s celebrated version of Cape Winelands cuisine.
Working together in the kitchen, they will share their passion and stories with well-known radio presenter Martelize Brink, who will be presenting a live broadcast for Radio Sonder Grense from La Motte on the day.
