Company’s Garden, Gardens

Pop-Up Cinema celebrates Retro Afrika Bioscope by screening one of the first independent South African films to be produced – Joe Bullet. Made in 1973, the film was banned during Apartheid after two screenings. The film has been digitally remastered and will be seen for the first time in public in over 40 years.

The screening takes place in the Company’s Gardens, where there will also be music, second hand market, massages at the movies, food vendors and a playzone area.
