Book Lounge, CBD
The Book Lounge is ready ton introduce The Way I See It: The Musings Of A Black Woman In The Rainbow Nation by Lerato Tshabalala.
In the book, Lerato gives her perspective of the social, political and cultural realms. She tells her experiences as a black South African in post-apartheid SA. She is honest and fearless in her descriptions. Although the book is political, it is very funny.
Here are some of the topics the book entails: irritating car guards, white-dominated corporate SA, cultural stereotypes, economic and racial inequality, and gender politics.
