Wednesday 3 December – Thursday 18 December, 6 pm
Michaelis Galleries, Hiddingh Campus
Michaelis School of Fine Art presents its largest graduate exhibition yet. Featuring work by 58 students who are completing their bachelor degrees and postgraduate diplomas in Fine Art, the exhibition takes place in over 30 spaces across UCT’s Hiddingh Campus.
This annual end-of-year exhibition celebrates the culmination of the graduating students’ careers at Michaelis, and offers these aspiring young artists the opportunity to present their final work to the public. The selection of works exhibited covers a diverse range of media: painting, sculpture, new media, print media, photography and everything in between.
An annual highlight in the local arts calendar, this highly anticipated event draws crowds of eager gallery-goers, and aspiring and established collectors. Nearly all of the work exhibited will be for sale, and a comprehensive catalogue available for purchase will accompany the exhibition.
