SA National Gallery

Unearthed is a compilation of artworks by the renowned landscape painter, Moses Tladi.

Moses Tladi is regarded as the first black artist to have formally exhibited in SA. The National Gallery has curated a collection of 30 of his best pieces to remind the public of his excellent work. Artworks from other artists who produced similar pieces are also being featured.

You can pick up a copy of Angela Read Lloyd’s book, The Quest for Moses Tladi: The Artist in the Garden (Print Matters) at the exhibition.
