Friday 17 to Sunday 19 April

Willowbridge Barnyard, Durbanville

If you’re into a little feel-good fiddle, some banging banjo and a double-bass or two, then you’ll want to hit up The Mumford Revolution at The Barnyard.

This blue-grass-influenced cover show puts the spotlight on Mumford and Sons’ folksy-celtic brand of country music and its origins.

Artists as diverse as The Lumineers, Passenger, One Direction, One Republic, Imagine Dragons, Avicii and our local Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole have all been inspired by the Mumford sound, so you’ll also catch cover artists performing these stars’ top Mumford-inspired tracks. Plus you can look forward to infectious standards such as ‘Dueling Banjos’ and ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia’.
