Through the means of storytelling and song, ‘Picture Incomplete’ sketches the portrait of one man’s life over the course of a very peculiar day. He is celebrating his birthday when an eviction notice arrives advising him to vacate his apartment. While he clears out his stuff, he discovers who he truly is with the aid of memories, nosy neighbours and a few chance encounters. Spoken in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa, this award-winning solo theatre piece is poignant, hilarious and very human.
