Can you think of an evening more up a gourmand’s alley than dinner with the winemaker of a prestigious Franschhoek estate?
Surrounded by sprawling lawns, vineyards and picturesque vistas, guests at the Plaisir de Merle Winemaker’s Table will be treated to a feast prepared by Johnny Hamman, paired with wine carefully selected by cellar master Niel Bester.
The meal will be served at the manor house, a cultural homage to the Cape Winelands dating back to 1764.
