Quartet, based on Choderlos de Laclos’s notorious novel Dangerous Liaisons, comes to the Artscape. Renowned SA theatre maker Marthinus Basson beings this tense work to the stage.
Starring Greta Pieterse and Ludwig Binge, Quartet revolves around a man and women who love each other but find it difficult to maintain this love in their constant search of pleasure and power. They perform an endless stream of seductions designed to hurt each other.
