The South African National Dance Trust brings you A Spartacus of Africa, a re-imagining of Aram Khachaturian’s ballet Spartacus, the story of a prisoner who revolts against his oppressors in the name of freedom.
This two-act ballet, choreographed by Veronica Paeper and featuring 21 of South Africa’s most talented professional dancers, is sure to be a magnificent production. It will be running at the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre for five consecutive nights.
