If crazy action sports and extreme stunts are your thing, then we’re guessing you already have your tickets to Ultimate X 2015, where top local and international FMX, BMX, skateboarders and rollerbladers will be showing off their skills.
If last year’s event at the V&A Waterfront is anything to go by, it’s going to be another epic weekend of ‘holy shit did you see that’ stunts and so many 360s you’ll be dizzy. These guys eat aerials for breakfast, so you already know it’s going to be a killer show, but a R150k overall prize means they won’t be holding back at all.

This weekend festival is taking place on Friday and Saturday at the Grand Arena at GrandWest – the first time it’s ever been staged indoors. Organisers are describing it as a ‘floodlit, pyrotechnical lazer action-sport blowout’.
And what’s an extreme sports event without a little party karate? Expect a hot line-up of local bands and DJs.
