The battle of the sexes continues this year at the Ultra Mussels Wine Tournament.
A competition for the best wine will he held at the Den Aker Restaurant in V&A Waterfront. Guests will be able to vote for their favourite Stellenbosch wines.
Doekle and Rejeanne Vlietman will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen and will provide each of the 200 guests with one kilogram of mussels to enjoy.
Get ready to enjoy some spectacular wine pairings, delicious seafood and great company.

One man’s meat is another man’s poison.Some people cannot eat shell fish because of the purine content in them.If eaten,uric acid builds up in the blood stream causing crystyls to lodge in all the joints of the body.The result ? Having GOUT.A form of arthritis causing severe swelling in the joints and very much inflamed.On the other hand,it can be enjoyed by many people and they could eat as many as their heart desires and they won’t develope what I have just mentioned above.Happy eating shell fish folks !!
